Pola Tulipanów i konkurs - Tulip Fields and the contest

Naszyjnik Pola Tulipanów stworzyłam na konkurs organizowany przez Royal Stone. Tematem inspiracji była tym razem Holandia, stąd moja praca nawiązuje do typowego dla Holandii krajobrazu – tulipanów sięgających różnokolorowymi pasami po sam horyzont, na którym majaczy następny charakterystyczny dla Niderlandów element – wiatrak. Rodzajów i kolorów tulipanów są setki, lecz najpopularniejsze są odcienie czerwieni, żółtego, fioletowego i różowego, stąd też takich właśnie kolorów użyłam w mojej pracy.

I created this pendant for the contest organised by Royal Stone. The inspiration theme was the Netherlands, thus my work corresponds to the typical Dutch scenery - fields of colourful tulips reaching to the very horizon, where you can find the outline of the windmill. There are hundreds of shapes and colours of the tulips, however the most popular ones are shades of red, yellow, purple and pink. That is why I used those colours in my work.

Po raz pierwszy robiłam zdjęcia, aby udokumentować cały proces powstawania naszyjnika. Poniżej przedstawiam po kolei wszystkie etapy. Zdjęcia z postępów były niestety robione telefonem zamiast aparatem i często wieczorem przy sztucznym świetle, więc nie są takiej samej jakości jak zdjęcia gotowej pracy.

For the first time I was making the picture to document the whole process of creating the pendant. Below there are all the steps. Unfortunately the pictures were taken by a smartphone instead of the camera and most of them were taken in the eavening using the artificial light, so the quality is not the same as the picture of the ready pendant.

Termin wysłania zdjęcia pracy był w poniedziałek, więc weekend spędziłąm jak na zdjęciu poniżej.. :)

Deadline to send the picture of the work was on Monday, so I spent the weekend as on the picture below.. :) 

Naszyknik już wypełniony, wycięty i naklejony na bazę z filcu.
The pendant is filled, cut out and glued to the felt base.

a tu już przyczepione łańcuszki.. i naszyjnik gotowy.
and here with the chains hooked on.. and the pendant is ready.

A taki mały artysta pomaga mi zarówno w robieniu biżuterii jak i zdjęć :) Jego pasją są koraliki i niteczki a ulubionym zajęciem siedzenie w namiocie bezcieniowym :D

And this little artist helps me both in creating jewellery and taking the pictures :) Beards and threads are his passion and his favourite job is sitting in the lightbox :D
